Our Returns & Refunds Policy

Please contact us by phone on 01 5240387 or e-mail INFO@ECOVOLT.IE for any of following returns:

If you received a defective item contact us within 48 hours to exchange it for the same item;

If you would like to exchange an item for a different one;

If you receive an item that’s damaged, contact us within 48 hours and tell us if you want a refund or replacement;

If you feel your item was damaged due to poor packaging, please let us know by submitting feedback (pictures at arrival) about the packaging.

Defective Items

If your item isn’t working properly, please check the product manual (which arrived with the item) or check our website. If you need additional assistance, you need to request missing pieces or replacement parts, or you need warranty information, please contact us at the details above.

Refunds

In respect of payment received by Credit Card or PayPal, you shall receive a refund according to the terms and conditions of the banking institution or PayPal approximately 20 business days after products have been received by our warehouse. On the date the refund is completed, we’ll send you an email message confirming the date, amount and payment details. You can see completed refunds when you visit your account after receiving this confirmation email.

Costs of refund

If you return something because of an error on our part or because it’s damaged or defective, we’ll refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and pay your costs of returning it to us. We’ll also refund the cost of any other services provided to you in connection with your purchase, where applicable. We’ll check all items returned as damaged or defective. In the event we find no fault, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item/s and to recover our fees and expenses from you.

If you choose to withdraw from any purchase between 7 and 14 days after the transaction and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item only. Any delivery costs in connection with your purchase will not be refunded.
The European Directive on consumer rights (Directive 2011/83/EU) (known as the Consumer Rights Directive) aims to ensure that consumers can expect the same minimum level of protection no matter where a trader is based in the European Union (EU). The Directive was incorporated into Irish law by the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 (SI No. 484/2013) with effect from 13 June 2014.

Your legal right to cancel a Contract starts from the date you receive your product/s, which is when the contract between us is formed. If the products have already been delivered to you, you have a period of 14 (fourteen) days in which you may cancel, starting from the day after the day you receive the Products. Days means Monday to Sunday. You can choose to return the item yourself or incur a collection charge of €18.00 per item.

Where you’re withdrawing from your purchase within the 14 day cooling-off period, and there’s been no error on our part, we’ll refund the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you as follows:

All orders must be returned in full including all original packaging and outer protective delivery sleeve if applicable.

Where you’re returning an item that was part of a larger order, we’ll refund the per-item charge for delivery that you incurred.

Where you’re returning an entire order, we’ll refund applicable per-item delivery charges and the per-delivery charge that you incurred.

We will refund only standard transport charges for items delivered in Ireland

Where we collect an item from you, we reserve the right to recover the costs of collection (€18.00 per item) from you.

We won’t refund the cost of packaging or any other services provided to you in connection with your purchase unless you return the item to us because of an error on our part or because it is defective.

To cancel a contract, please notify us in writing either by email to info@ecovolt.ie with the subject ‘Cancellation of Contract’ or by post to Ecovolt Limited, Greenacres, Old Kilgobbin Road, Sandyford, Dublin 18, Ireland.
